Joani - Dental Assistant

Meet Joani, our skilled and compassionate dental assistant. Joani has been an integral part of the success of our practice. With her cheerful personality and infectious smile, Joani always makes our patients feel welcome and at ease. She has the ability to make even the most nervous patients feel at home and cared for. Her attention to detail and kindness help our patients feel relaxed and confident in the care they receive. When she’s not in the office, Joani enjoys spending time with the ones she love, being outdoors, live music and traveling.

Tasha - Dental Hygienist

Meet Tasha, a dental hygienist with over 10 years of experience. Tasha is known for her friendly and thorough approach to patient care, and her dedication to helping her patients achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile. Tasha truly cares for her patients, and her kindness and compassion shine through in everything she does. She’s committed to making sure every patient feels valued and heard. Tasha takes the time to get to know her patients and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dental chair. With her gentle approach and vibrant energy, you’ll leave your appointment feeling like you’ve made a new friend. When she’s not in the office you can find Tasha out on her paddle board or enjoying some live music, or chasing around her two kids.

Marissa - Dental Hygienist

Marissa's journey in the dental field began when she started working as a dental assistant. It didn't take long for her to discover her passion for dentistry. Seeing the positive impact that dental care can have on a patient's overall health and well-being truly inspired her.

Driven by her passion, Marissa pursued further education and graduated as a dental hygienist at Portland Community College. Throughout her studies, she developed a deeper understanding of the importance of preventative dental care and the role that dental hygienists play in promoting oral health.

As a dental hygienist, Marissa takes great pride in building meaningful relationships with her patients. She believes that providing the best dental experience starts with establishing trust and ensuring that patients feel comfortable and well-informed. Marissa's gentle and compassionate approach has earned her a reputation for being a great listener and for putting her patients' needs first. She takes the time to educate her patients on the best practices for maintaining optimal oral health and provides them with tailored treatment plans that suit their individual needs.

In her free time, Marissa loves to stay active outdoors with her family. Whether it's hiking, camping, or simply taking a stroll in the park with her husband, daughter, and dog, she enjoys being surrounded by nature and soaking up the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Leslie - Dental Hygienist

Leslie, who has been in the dental field since 2004, graduated from Pacific University in 2009 with the Outstanding Graduate Award. She went on to teach as a clinical instructor at Pacific University for 9 years and hopes to return in Spring 2024. She has worked as a periodontal hygienist since 2018. In 2019 Leslie took her passion for dentistry one step further when she trained to become a myofunctional therapist and started her own business MyoFit, LLC, in 2021.
Leslie always has a smile on her face and is dedicated to her patient’s overall health. She is passionate and strives to do the very best for every patient that sits in her chair. Leslie, originally from New Mexico, loves the Pacific NW where she met her hubby Eric and is a mom to Addie, 9, and Alder, 6. She loves spending time with her family and dedicating her extra time by volunteering as PTO President of her kids’ school.

Kelly

Kelly, who has been working in the field of dentistry for almost a decade, recently joined our team in 2021. She is a Pacific University graduate, where she also served as part-time faculty for six years. Kelly values the opportunity to spend quality time with her patients to provide individualized and comprehensive care, ensuring that their specific needs are met. Her dedication to dentistry extends beyond work hours, as she actively reads articles and attends continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

When she's not working, Kelly enjoys cooking and staying active. Kelly also has a keen interest in wine tasting, and loves exploring new vineyards and varietals. One of her favorite companions on her adventures is her St. Bernard, Bonnie, who accompanies her on her outdoor excursions. With her warm and friendly personality, Kelly is a valuable addition to our team, and we're thrilled to have her on board.

Natalie

Natalie is the first person you’ll see when you walk through our doors, and the first cheerful voice you’ll hear when you call. She is dedicated to making every patient feel welcomed and comfortable. With a warm and friendly demeanor, Natalie is knowledgeable about all aspects of our dental practice. She is happy to answer any questions you may have and can guide you through the process with ease. We are lucky to have such a talented and caring person on our team, and we know that you will appreciate her positive energy and thoughtful approach to patient care. Natalie continues to expand her education and is currently studying public health at PSU, and when she’s not in the office she spends her time outside exploring her hometown, hiking, camping and paddleboarding. She’s a foodie who enjoys sushi and binge watching Yellowstone.

Pamela

Pamela is a Portland Native who has been working in the field of dentistry for more than 37 years. She takes pleasure in building lasting relationships with our patients and assisting them in achieving a beautiful and healthy smile.

Pamela is always eager to lend a helping hand to our patients, and has assisted in countless procedures with the doctor over the years, surgeries being her favorite. She remains enthusiastic about learning and broadening her knowledge of dental procedures. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone who visits our office feels cared for and leaves with a smile.

During her leisure time, Pamela is an avid golfer and loves to explore the outdoors. Some of her favorite courses to visit are Bandon Dunes and Wolf Creek. Additionally, Pamela enjoys watching science fiction and action films on the big screen.
